- Description: Jef Moine's version of abc2ps. It handles multi-voice ABC much better than the original abc2ps - and much better than other ABC applications too, btw.
The Atari version is developed by Markus Lutz and is available at http://home.t-online.de/home/Markus_Lutz/atari.html. - URL: http://moinejf.free.fr/

- Easy way to get a score typeset (as long as you have installed a Linux OS, which comes with PostScript support right from the box; if you haven't and have a large HD, you might consider dedicating some space to the Penguin -- it comes out cheaper than paying royalties for proprietary applications of several types that become unusable now and then without -- or even with -- paid-for upgrades from time to time).
Once you have an abc source, you just have to do some editing to tweak it to abcm2ps's extensions (so as to improve the typesetting) and type a simple command line to get a PostScript score. The program comes with good documentation and is very easy to use (even for those who aren't used to the command line). If you are using Linux, conversion of PS to other formats shouldn't be a problem.

- Probably one of the best application for getting the best-looking abc partitions ever !
Not especially easy to use (because of the necessary installation of a postscript viewer), but really worthes it !
- ghostscript, ghostview...
