- I've been using this program for several years now, and I have yet to see another to match it for useability and value for money. Its playback is as realistic as it is possible to be with MIDI, it produces good midi files for use in sequencers etc.,and it has a host of useful searching/sorting tools.
I use it in conjunction with RunABC and Ghostscript for printing and ABCTools for transposing etc. A perfect combination of programs ..

- I recommend this to anyone wanting a good
abc player program: it plays back the standard types of tunes with the right feeling: strong beats emphasized, a bit of swing, etc. It's customizable, too, tho you have to know a fair amount to do the more advanced adjusting.
I've been using it for most of my tune-editing, and the search feature is both fast and useful: it will search for tunes by title, or by musical phrase, which is useful for finding that tune whose title is just on the tip of the tongue...
particularly if you have a large collection of abc files.
