I'm here at least. ;-)

Well, sometimes I am. I'm afraid I'm guilty of neglecting this site myself.

Everybody who knows me have heard my complaints of the distinct lack of hours in a standard day so I won't go into that.

But there's also another reason why I've kept such a low profile for this message board, I've been afraid people would see it as a competition to the abcusers maillist. However, recently somebody on the list suggested a message board would be more suitable than a maillist, so here it is.

Personally I think a list and a board should complement each other rather than compete. The message board is the forum for more permanent posts - the ones people keep going back to and re-reading. It's also a forum to reach people who use abc notation but aren't interested enough to subscribe to a dedicated list.

The list on the other hand, is probably the better place for ongoing discussions about current projects.

I'll get used to it).

No problem. I've removed it.

A word of caution

Do not post your email address at this or any other internet forum unless you have a good reason to do so. The entire internet is infected with "spambots" - robots that search pages looking for email addresses. The more places you post your email address, the more spam you'll get.  :-(
